SIBOS

SIBOS is the annual conference, exhibition and networking event organised by SWIFT for the financial industry.

What started out as a banking operations seminar in 1978 has grown into the premier business forum for the global financial community to debate and collaborate in the areas of payments, securities, cash management and trade. In 2019 SIBOS took place in London for the first time, with an overarching theme of ‘thriving in a hyper-connected world’.

After a hugely successful stand in Sydney 2018, Brandfuel were asked to deliver yet another memorable brand experience for 2019. By creating a sophisticated, digitally interactive and environmentally conscious stand we were able to build on the success of 2018 to deliver one of the standout brand presences of SIBOS 2019.

DESIGN WITH SUSTAINABILITY IN MIND

As a follow up to our brand presence at SIBOS 2019, we delivered Standard Chartered's post-event cocktail reception.

We sourced the world-famous Cutty Sark in Greenwich as the venue, offering guests awe-inspiring surroundings that few get to experience. The venue was open to the public until 5pm on the day, giving us a tight turnaround time to dress and prepare the space. The main event space was located under the copper-clad hull of the ship and we were tasked with delivering a drinks evening that reflected the themes of the SIBOS event, with its role as a global tea clipper complimenting the multinational nature of dressing, food and beverages on the night.
