Case study: The World Economic Forum
Our experience
We have helped brands build their presence in Davos for 18+ years, creating experiences for delegates of the prestigious World Economic Forum.
We use our extensive local knowledge and experience to deliver complex projects for high-level delegates, including designing and building pavilions, hosting exclusive dinners and parties, thought leadership events and immersive installations.
We transform environments within the logistically challenging Swiss mountains and strict local council rules, and take the heavy lifting off our clients so they can focus on their aims and objectives.
We do this for many clients each year, including Google, BlackRock, Cloudflare, Aramco, Zoom, McKinsey and Bloomberg to name a few.
We have extensive knowledge of who is who in Davos and have built many strong and lasting relationships with local people.
We create and manage events at any scale in their entirety, from strategy through to live production.
That covers end-to-end project management, attendee management, venue sourcing, and creative services spanning concepting, 2D and 3D design, and content ideation.

Introduction: Brandfuel in Davos
A week that takes
all year to build
Davos: The Promenade
Our partners, side by side on the Promenade
Every January the street fills with houses, pavilions and bars. These are four we built for 2026.

Cloudflare’s Barry’s Piano Bar returned to the Promenade for its sixth year, maintaining its status as one of WEF’s most sought-after evening destinations. Welcoming over 2,500 guests across the week, the experience continued to provide a relaxed and vibrant setting for high-level attendees to network after official events and dinners.
A legacy that all began when Brandfuel helped Cloudflare convert a disused restaurant into a chic piano bar for the first time in 2020.
Since then we have hosted many WEF guests each year, worked with musical acts for VIP parties including Jason Derulo, Zara Larsson and the Chainsmokers, and hosted the VIP Wine Forum, all alongside our nightly piano bar with Davos favourite Barry Colson entertaining guests with 80s hits and classic and contemporary crowd-pleasers.

New for 2026, complimentary pizzas were served each evening, a simple but hugely popular addition that further reinforced Barry’s Piano Bar as the place to connect and unwind late into the night.
Case study: Bloomberg House

Bloomberg at WEF 2026
2026 saw Bloomberg return to their House, one of the must-attend event spaces on the Promenade. We again transformed a furniture store, hair salon and clothes store into multi-use space for content delivery, bilateral meetings, private 1-2-1s, cocktail receptions, parties and a café. In 2026 the incredible speaker list saw President Milei of Argentina once again top the billing, with people queueing around the corner to get a view.
Continuing the elevated look and feel from 2025, we were able to refurbish and reuse most of the set and build items but update the furniture and props. A standout backdrop to the reception desk based on the topography of Davos created a stunning entrance piece as guests arrived.

The House is one of the most impactful brand activations in Davos, both in terms of the number of people through the doors and how many different types of events it can host, giving Bloomberg great flexibility across its audience requirements.
Whether it’s a packed room for Anthropic’s CEO or an intimate lunch and dinner, we are able to transform the space to service an ever ambitious agenda.

Brandfuel have been delivering the CEO’s reception at the Alpen Gold in Davos for 10 years. The event consists of a drinks and canapés reception, with digital installations, entertainment, food and a speech from the CEO.
Due to the back to back events at the venue, we only have the venue for 24 hours in total. Within this time we have to complete the full build, include rehearsals, allow catering and all external suppliers to set up, run the event and de-rig.

In 2026 we developed the event from exhibition to show, with the culmination being a 26 person Lebanese dance act, The Mayyas. With the 2026 World Cup and Aramco a key headline sponsor, we also hosted the World Cup Trophy and FIFA legend Gerard Piqué.

CrowdStrike at WEF 2026
In 2026, CrowdStrike arrived on the Davos Promenade for the very first time and they asked Brandfuel to help them make some noise. The brief was simple: show up at WEF and make it count, with a façade that would stop people in their tracks.
Working hand-in-hand with CrowdStrike’s design team, we transformed a traditional Swiss café into a bold, modern pavilion that felt unmistakably CrowdStrike.
Early work: the café façade, tracedFineliner and red pencil on trace, over the site photo
Inside, the pavilion played host to senior executive meetings, packed-out panel sessions, lively receptions and intimate dinners attended by global business leaders including Toto Wolff. Upstairs, two striking meeting rooms offered privacy for high-level discussions. Downstairs, a dedicated content kiosk and flexible hosting areas created space for interviews, conversations and connection.
Outside, the façade did more than just look good. An integrated giveaway station served up daily treats including protein balls, warming bone broth and CrowdStrike’s now-iconic red scarves, which quickly became a familiar sight along the Promenade.
The experience proved such a success that we’re already working with CrowdStrike on their return to Davos in 2027 in an even bigger venue.
Next: WEF 2027
Planning for Davos 2027 has already begun.
CrowdStrike returns in an even bigger venue, and our partners are already shaping their next week on the Promenade.
