Awards & Accreditations
Brandfuel has consistently won major awards since it was founded in 2004. Few compare, however, with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, which we were awarded in 2021.
We believe that the events industry provides a great opportunity to protect our planet. As a result, we aim to be the drivers of change, and to be seen as leaders in reducing the harmful environmental and social impact of our industry’s work.
In December 2020, we became the first UK agency to be granted ISO20121 sustainability accreditation for both physical and virtual events. We have also become founder members of ISLA, the pan-industry alliance on sustainability, and introduced our own event evaluation and reporting system, ESME.
In May 2021, we gained our IT and security ISO27001 accreditation, a benchmark of growing importance in a world that has become increasingly digital. This gives all our stakeholders – including contractors, suppliers and, most importantly, our growing list of clients – confidence in our information security management system. They can be assured that we will safeguard their data with integrity, ensuring only its appropriate use, and maintaining confidentiality as necessary.
At the end of 2021 we learnt that we had achieved accreditation in health (ISO45001) and mental well-being (ISO45003). The second part of this standard was launched only days before we began the process. We believe that we are the first UK agency to acquire this dual accreditation.
